Country Program in Review: Vietnam

A Shared Vision for Improving Perinatal Mental Health in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: A Theory of Change and Prioritized Implementation Research Questions

Knowledge and Use of the World Health Organization Medical Eligibility Criteria For Contraceptive Use Among Family Planning Professionals in Low-Resource Settings

Not all frontline health workers in low-resource settings have been exposed to tools that help ensure client safety in family planning, including the World Health Organization (WHO) medical eligibility criteria MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership staff devised an online survey to better understand how aware technical assistance providers, trainers, educators, and professional association members globally are of these tools and how they use them in their day-to-day clinical, training or mentorship practices. This brief outlines the results of this survey and the resulting recommendations.

Launching the Perinatal Mental Health Theory of Change: Next Steps for a Common Global Vision

The pressing need to address Perinatal Mental Health (PMH) globally has garnered increasing attention in recent years, particularly as the COVID-19 pandemic further worsened mental health outcomes for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. On October 20, 2022, MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership and global experts held a webinar to share and explore new resources for PMH, including a global Theory of Change, and to discuss how to align behind a shared global vision to improve maternal and newborn health.
