Developed by MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership, this new module on Postpartum Family Planning (PPFP) is designed to support health care workers in developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to provide accurate information and counseling on PPFP and to promote voluntary and informed choice and decision-making. After completing this module, participants will be able to provide an overview of PPFP and healthy timing and spacing of pregnancies (HTSP) and educate mothers and their partners on the benefits of PPFP and HTSP and the contraceptive options available to them in the immediate, early, and extended postpartum period.
