Call for Abstracts
The MOMENTUM Routine Immunization Transformation and Equity project, in collaboration with the Service Experience (SE) workstream of the Vaccination Demand Hub, invites you to share your work in service experience through an upcoming webinar series.
The Vaccination Demand Hub SE workstream aims to strengthen the application and use of service experience interventions, tools, and measurement approaches to improve the immunization service experience for both healthcare workers, community members, and caregivers in countries across the globe. Immunization implementers (as well as those in technical fields outside of immunization) have lessons learned and best practices to share about implementing service experience interventions. By submitting your abstract for consideration, you will have an opportunity to share your lessons learned. Selected abstracts will be presented in the upcoming webinar series and/or, will be featured as a case study in an upcoming “How to Guide” for implementation of service experience interventions.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstract submissions are requested for programs and interventions that strengthen quality of services and/or the service experience. Abstracts must provide an overview of the service experience problem, the intervention utilized to address the problem, the tools and measurement approaches used, and evidence from the intervention to improve client or health provider service experience. We are looking for a mix of interventions focused both on improving healthcare provider experience as well as client/patient or community experience. Our focus is on immunization interventions; however, any service experience abstracts for technical areas outside of immunization, as long as they include how the intervention would be applicable for the immunization context, are welcome.
Interventions can be focused at any level of the Service Experience Theoretical Framework, but must demonstrate proximal evidence directly on service experience (i.e. did the intervention improve direct service experience for the provider or community member/client/caregiver).
Abstract submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis until Friday, January 10, 2025. Please follow the abstract format below.
Submit your abstract here. All abstracts will be reviewed according to this rubric by a panel of technical specialists from the Service Experience workstream.
Selected abstracts will be informed of their acceptance by January 24, 2025.
Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to present their findings during a webinar series beginning in February 2025. A select number of presentations will be utilized as case studies in a “How to Guide” for implementation of service experience interventions and authors may be asked to provide light-touch review and support for the development of the case studies.
