Ensuring that immunization services are accessible to all individuals is an essential part of primary health care and achieving universal health coverage (UHC). In recent years, vaccines have protected more of the world’s population than ever before, increasing life expectancy and economic growth; yet the use of immunization services has flatlined for a decade.

MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership will be hosting a webinar, “A Roadmap for Progress in Global Immunization Systems,” on Wednesday, May 26 at 9:30 am ET which will highlight the important role of the World Health Organization’s recently launched Immunization Agenda 2030 (IA2030), a global strategy that provides a framework for stronger immunization programs. The webinar’s panelists will discuss how IA2030 contributes to improving primary health care and advancing UHC. This expert panel discussion, held during the 74th World Health Assembly, aims to raise awareness among health providers, advocates, and program implementers about the objectives of IA2030’s Strategic Priority 1. This strategic priority, one of seven, aims to make immunization services accessible to all people as part of primary health care, thereby contributing to universal health coverage.

Please join us as we examine and unpack the core principles of IA2030, ensuring our efforts are people-focused, country-owned, partnership-based, and data-enabled.
