Navigating Crises in the Humanitarian Development Peace Nexus

On June 25th, 2024, MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience hosted a webinar that explored efforts to improve access to and availability of quality, respectful, and person-centered MNCH/FP/RH care in fragile and conflict-affected settings. Understanding the Cold Chain Maintenance System in Niger

MOMENTUM Routine Immunization Transformation and Equity conducted a human-centered design study in Niger to delve into challenges within Niger’s cold chain maintenance system, considering the perspectives of various stakeholders. This comprehensive report details the approach and results from co-creation activities. The results uncovered ways to improve the system by maximizing stakeholder strengths and fine-tuning procedures and guidance for cold chain operations.

Interventions and Adaptations To Strengthen Data Quality and Use for COVID-19 Vaccination: A Mixed Methods Evaluation

This mixed-methods evaluation of COVID-19 vaccine-related data and digital interventions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Niger, and Vietnam explores mid-course adaptations. It highlights that adaptations were driven by need and funding availability, leading to improved data availability and quality, although challenges remain in data use and eHealth building blocks.

Learning from MOMENTUM: Community Engagement and Systems Strengthening Approaches to Addressing Gender-Based Violence

Showcasing the Community Health Worker Assessment and Improvement Matrix (AIM) Tool in Fragile Settings

On October 26, 2023, MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience joined the Child Health Task Force to host a webinar on the Community Health Worker Assessment and Improvement Matrix (AIM). The webinar provided an overview of the toolkit and discussed the process and initial outcomes from Mali and Niger. This webinar also focused on CHW programs and their importance and relevance to child health. The session will feature country representatives, including from the Ministry of Health.
